Ruth Wilson stars in the London premiere of The El. Train: three one-act plays by Eugene O'Neill (The Web, Before Breakfast and The Dreamy Kid). The plays, written between 1913 and 1918, are being presented together for the first time. Ruth acts in The Web and Before Breakfast, directed by Sam Yates, and makes her directorial debut with The Dreamy Kid. Combining live music with immersive design, all housed in the intimate setting of Grade II listed Hoxton Hall (built 1863, seating an audience of 125), The El. Following the critically acclaimed Red Velvet, Indhu Rubasingham continues her inaugural season as Artistic Director of the Tricycle Theatre with a new production of The Arabian Nights. Indhu said "Our new production of The Arabian Nights will be the first festive show at the Tricycle. It is the second production in my first season, and I am so excited that it's directed by Lu Kemp who has brought together a wonderful ensemble cast. This version promises to offer something different for young people as well as adults. It will be very cool with magical moments and superb story telling which will be humorous, dark and engaging. New music composed by the fantastic indie band Take It Easy Hospital will also add an extra edge and bring originality to this modern interpretation".

London's Donmar to Present Staged Reading of 'In Darfur'

The Public Theater has announced that The Donmar Warehouse in London, in association with producer Arielle Tepper Madover, will present a staged reading of Winter Miller's In Darfur on July 9, the same day that The Public will host a reading of the play at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park.
