Ali Stroker to Star in Reading for New Musical Comedy (UN)LUCKY IN LOVE
(Un)Lucky In Love, a heroic romantic musical comedy by award-winning writers Crystal Skillman & Bobby Cronin, will receive a developmental reading this week with a starry cast led by Ali Stroker (Spring Awakening, 'Glee') in a role that would be a first in Broadway musical theatre history -- a lead character who is disabled played by a disabled actor.

NYMF Announces 10 Additional Musicals
The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) has announced 10 additional musical productions for their ninth annual festival. These musicals will play alongside the ten Next Link productions made public last month, as well as several productions, special events and concerts to be announced in the coming weeks. This year's Festival will begin July 9th and continue through July 29th.

Calgary International Festival of the Arts to Launch 1/7
Today, Curator Michael Green announced the 2010 line up for the 24th annual High Performance Rodeo, Calgary's International Festival of the Arts. The popular festival runs January 7 to 31, 2010 at various venues throughout Calgary and will feature a collection of the boldest and the brightest artists from the realms of theatre, dance, comedy and music. Green was also pleased to announce the return of His Excellency Jean-Daniel Lafond as the Patron of the High Performance Rodeo.
