Birth Place: London
Omri Kadim was born in London, England and has since lived in Paris, Tel Aviv, Athens, Vienna and New York. After discovering his love of theatre during high school, Omri was accepted to the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Through Tisch, he studied at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting for two years before returning to London to study Shakespeare in Performance at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, as part of the NYU Study Abroad program. Upon his return to New York, Omri spent a year studying film and television acting technique at the Stonestreet Studio.
Omri has appeared on stage in a variety of roles ranging from Shakespearean characters both old (Ghost - Hamlet) and young (Benedick - Much Ado About Nothing), to the surrealist, nonsensical creations of Eugene Ionesco (Father Jack - Jack; Or Obedience) and roles in contemporary dramas (Van - Dog Sees God). He has also appeared in multiple film projects, both in English and German.
An avid writer, Omri has written two full length plays and multiple one acts. His first play, "TORTURE", was produced in New York in 2012 at the Bridge Theatre at Shetler Studios. His short piece "An Argument" was a finalist during the LOST Theatre's 2013 Under-Five Festival in London. He also co-wrote "Leah's One Step Guide to Forget Emily" which was accepted into the Cannes Short Film Corner 2016.
