Casting Announced For Premiere Stages' FANNIE LOU HAMER, SPEAK ON IT!
Broadway's Rema Webb will star as Fannie Lou Hamer and Kena Anae has been cast as Music Man in Premiere Stages production of Cheryl L. West's Fannie Lou Hamer, Speak On It!. The outdoor production, directed by Marshall Jones III will take place at the outdoor tent at Liberty Hall Museum at Kean University in Union, New Jersey, October 15-18, 2020.

Underscore Theatre Company, in association with Harborside Films, is pleased to present the Chicago premiere of TONYA AND NANCY: THE ROCK OPERA, a dark musical comedy based on the infamous 1990's Tonya Harding/Nancy Kerrigan "knee whack" ice skating scandal. 2015 Rooftop Filmmakers Fund Grant Recipients Announced
Rooftop Films has awarded thirteen cash and service grants to alumni filmmakers, including The Rooftop Filmmakers' Fund Garbo NYC Feature Film Grants, which were awarded to directors Kitty Green and Sebastian Silva. Green will receive a monetary grant of $15,000 to help finish her new film, 'Casting JonBenet,' and Silva will receive a $10,000 grant to support his film, 'Demon Me.'
2015 Sundance Film Festival Announces Shorts Program
Sundance Institute announced today the program of short films selected to screen at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, January 22 to February 1 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah. The 2015 Short Film program is comprised of 60 short films selected from 8,061 submissions. The Festival is the centerpiece of the year-round public programs for the Institute, which also hosts 24 residency labs and grants more than $2.5 million to independent artists each year.
