BIO

Nina Kauffman is an NYC-based bookwriter/lyricist, composer, director, performer, dramaturg, and producer. She has a BFA in Acting (Towson University) and an MFA in Musical Theatre Writing (Tisch School of the Arts). Writing credits include "The Boy Who Cried Succubus!" (book/lyrics), "Paranormative" (book/lyrics), "Naught" (co-book/lyrics), "Mixed Media" (book/lyrics/music), and "A Different Point of View," a song cycle (lyrics/music). Off-broadway credits include "Afterglow" (Assistant Director, Co-Dramaturg) and "Paranormative," a reading performance. Her work has also been featured at Joe's Pub at the Public, the Laurie Beechman, and Green Room 42. WE ARE THE TIGERS to Release Off-Broadway Cast Album

Midnight Theatricals and S. Asher Gelman, producer of the original pop/rock musical and teen horror comedy We Are The Tigers, have announced that a cast album is in the works and will be released on April 26 through Broadway Records, the Grammy-winning record label dedicated to preserving musical theatre and theatre vocalists The album is available for pre-order at BroadwayRecords.com.

Midnight Theatricals has annouced an updated performance schedule and released a new trailer for WE ARE THE TIGERS, the original pop/rock musical and teen horror comedy written & composed by Preston Max Allen and produced by S. Asher Gelman, that will open Off-Broadway at Theater 80 (80 St. Mark's Place) tonight at 8:00PM Michael Bello directs the pitch-black comedy about a dismally low-ranking team of cheerleaders trying to survive the night while being terrorized by a serial killer.
