The winners of the 2019 Sydney Theatre Awards were announced tonight at a star-studded ceremony, with 35 Awards presented, shared between 18 productions which played in Sydney during the calendar year of 2019. More than 400 members of the Sydney theatre community packed the York Theatre at the Seymour Centre to celebrate.
INNVER VOICES to Play Old Fitz Theatre
Don't Look Away in association with Red Line Productions at the Old Fitz is presenting Louis Nowra's Inner Voices. This marks the first time the play will be presented in Sydney since its premiere almost four decades ago at the Nimrod Theatre in a production directed by John Bell and featuring Tony Sheldon, Jane Harders, Bill Conn and Robert Alexander.

Australian Actress Carol Burns Passes Away at 68
One of Australia's most versatile and acclaimed actors, Carol Burns has passed away, aged 68, after a short battle with cancer. Her partner of 36 years, composer and musician, Alan Lawrence was at her bedside as she passed at Brisbane's Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Sydney Theatre Company's ARMS AND THE MAN Begins in September
