BIO

Originally from Westchester, New York, Nikita Tewani is a New York based actress. She holds a BFA in Drama from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
She was most recently seen reprising the role she originated, Aziza, in the play adaptation of Khaled Hosseini's A Thousand Splendid Suns at the Old Globe Theater. She will continue to tour the show in 2018. Nikita was also seen as Mahwish in The Who And The What, by Ayad Akhtar, at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater.
Nikita's previous TV Credits include The Affair (Showtime) and Falling Water (USA). She has also been featured in Off-Broadway Theatre, International Theatre, National Commercials, Global Print Ads and Independent Films. Nikita is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors Equity Association.

To say that Henrik Ibsen’s play “Ghosts”, currently playing at the Seattle Rep as translated from the Norwegian by Paul Walsh, is bleak is an understatement to say the least. A play filled with secrets, lies, infidelities, sexual assault, venereal disease, incest, and euthanasia to mention just a few, sounds like enough bleak to bring anyone down. And while this sounds like a horrible evening at the theater, the superb cast including a couple of notable powerhouses, make the bleakness engaging and, dare I say, entertaining.
