Theatre of NOTE's production of 'For The Love Of (or, the roller derby play),' which Center Theatre Group is remounting at the Kirk Douglas Theatre as part of the third annual Block Party: Celebrating Los Angeles Theatre, will open this Saturday, March 9 at 8 p.m. Written by Gina Femia and directed by Rhonda Kohl, 'For The Love Of' is currently in previews and will close March 17.

Theatre of NOTE announces its production of Alternative Acts, an evening of 7 one-acts including: Out To Breakfast by Andrew Tarr, Benefits of a Gauntlet by Gina Garcia-Sharp, Sandwich by Kirsten Vangsness, Mr. Picmanby Tom Cavanaugh, Youniverse by Tennyson E. Stead, VladFather by Jennifer Hugus and Transitions by Bill Robens. Alternative Actswill open on Friday, August 25 at 10pm and run through Saturday, September 16 at Theatre of NOTE, 1517 N Cahuenga Blvd (just north of Sunset) in Hollywood. Evening will begin with live music, food and drink.
