Nicole Besa

Born and raised in Alaska, Nicole passionately began performing in high school as a 4 year Debate Team state champion, a 4 year winner in the National Association of Teachers of Singing competition, and as a winner in the National YoungARTS Foundation. Now based in Chicago, New York, and LA, Nicole has recently been a winner in the Classical Singer Competition, a finalist in the FAME mentorship program, and a semi-finalist in the Musician?s Club of Women and Luminarts Foundation scholarship competitions. Nicole was scouted to train in Music, Theatre, and Dance at the University of Alaska Anchorage as early as middle school. She continued training towards a BA in Theatre Arts and BM in Vocal Performance, at Boston University, Elon University, and Illinois Wesleyan University. A formidable and versatile talent as an actor, singer, and voiceover artist, Nicole has had the pleasure of working with the Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Lakeside Singers, BoHo Theatre, Anchorage Opera, the Kathleen Battle Chorus, Jedlicka Performing Arts, Blue Water Kings and Silver Arrow bands, and others. Favorite projects include NIMEDA from the film Dreaming Grand Avenue (releases this spring/ summer), ANNE in A Little Night Music, TRIX in The Drowsy Chaperone, BEAUTY CONSULTANT for Walgreens, and NEDDA in Pagliacci.
