Birth Place: Battersea London
Trained at the Guildhall School Of Music & Drama, she made her debut in the musical Showboat starring Cleo Laine at the Adelphi Theatre in London. Her numerous West End shows include, Elegies, Godspell, Mutiny! Little Shop Of Horrors, Barnum, Destry Rides Again and Lion King. She has appeared in many regional Theatres in plays as well as musicals on both sides of the Atlantic.
In New York, she has played Mrs Strakosh for Revision Theatre, Sheer sock in Socks at the Sage Theatre, and Olga/Mary in Soul Kitchen.
On television she has guested on The Bill, Casualty, Birds Of A Feather, I Claudius,Angels, Fathers and Families, had her own comedy shows Us Girls & Madam Manhattan. For a while she was a backing singer for Ray Charles, Lulu Millicent Martin and David Essex.
She received an Olivier nomination as Best Supporting Actress for her work in Destry Rides again.
She has just finished playing Lulu White in the Mistress Cycle and will be touring as Simone in Sarah Lee's Snakes & Ladders.
