Si Litvinoff, the visionary producer whose foresight in cinema art led to perennial classics such as Stanley Kubrick's “A Clockwork Orange,” Nicolas Roeg's “Walkabout”, 'The Man Who Fell to Earth,' starring David Bowie, and more passed away peacefully on Monday, December 26, 2022, in Los Angeles, California. He was 93.
Rikki Lee Travolta Set To Star In Chicagoland's I HATE HAMLET
Rikki Lee Travolta will head the cast of Elgin Theatre Company's mounting of Paul Rudnick's iconic comedy I Hate Hamlet opening September 30, 2022, at the Elgin Arts Showcase just north of Chicago. Under the direction of Regina Belt-Daniels, Travolta will play the role of Andrew Rally – a famous but not terribly talented TV star who is cast in the title role of Shakespeare in the Park's Hamlet.
I HATE HAMLET Comes to Centers for Performing Arts Bonita Springs
Center for Performing Arts Bonita Springs launches its new year and new season with the Paul Rudnick comedy I HATE HAMLET, running July 18-21 at the Moe Auditorium and Film Center. Rudnick is probably best known for the Sister Act screenplay, and his plays include Jeffrey, The Naked Eye and the more recent Regrets Only.
