NICK PREZ is a singer, actor, and teaching artist with a dual degree graduate from Berklee College of Music in Music Education and Songwriting (minor in Musical Theater Writing). He started studying vocal performance in his pre-collegiate years, and has continued exploring vocal styles including classical, musical theater, rock, pop, jazz, and punk rock.
Nick has performed classically in performance venues including Berklee Performance Center (Sweeney Todd, West Side Story), and performed in professional chorals settings at Boston’s Symphony Hall (MMEA All State Chorus 2013, Final Fantasy Tour 2015, Lord of the Rings In Concert 2016).
Nick has experience in the dueling piano bar circuit and has performed for the dueling piano rock show "Howl at the Moon Piano Bar" from 2014-2019 in Boston, MA and Foxboro MA;
He debuted his Back-Up vocal arrangements at Rockers on Broadway, 2019 and returned in 2020 and 2022. His most recent theater show was the New York Theater at the New York Theater's Winter Festival, where he played a leading role in a multi-award winning show "The Circle of Eyes" . Recently, his music direction debuted at the Schubert Festival, located at the Broadhurst Theater on Broadway.
He worked as the music director at School of Rock's Queens location in NY from 2020-2023 where he taught vocals, piano, music theory and ear training, and oversaw all performance groups.
Currently, Nick regularly performs dueling pianos and piano bar shows in Midtown Manhattan. Additionally, Nick is currently employed as a teaching artist for the non-profit Broadway Bound Kids. Nick recently debuted as the solo artist Nick Prez in June of 2023, and announced his EP to debut in Fall 2023.
