Famed Argentine dancer/choreographer Guillermina Quiroga, one of the world's leading tango dancers, will be joined by her longtime partner, Mariano Logiudice, dancers Adriana Salgado and Orlando Reyes, and the Latin Grammy award-winning Pedro Giraudo Tango Quartet (bass, violin, bandoneon, piano) in Tango in Concert, a brilliant program that brings to life the passion, soul and beauty of Argentine tango.

The New Jersey Performing Arts Center celebrates the 10th annual TD James Moody Jazz Festival showcasing an all-star lineup of the country's best musicians, held Nov 5-21, including the award-winning Maria Schneider Orchestra, the New Jersey premiere of Christian McBride's The Movement Revisited, the Tony Award-winning Lillias White (currently on Broadway in Chicago), a special tribute concert to George Wein.

A more revealing, soul-searching expression of the life of Astor Piazzolla-the father of Nuevo Tango-is at the heart of a revamped production of "That's Not Tango - Astor Piazzolla, A Life In Music," returning for an extended run at New York's SubCulture on June 8, 9 & 10th and for multiple performances in July. The director is Stephen Wadsworth, named one of the most influential stage directors of the 21st century by American Theatre.

Highlights include Argentine folk from Mavi Diaz & Las Folkies with special guest Maria Volonte on July 19; Cuban son ensemble El Septeto Santiaguero on July 28; That's Not Tango celebrating Astor Piazzolla on the 25th anniversary of his death on August 5 and 6; Patagonian trio Femina mixing Latin rhythms with international reggae and funk on August 10; Brazilian pop musician Aline Muniz, also on August 10; Brazilian jazz duo Livia Nestrovski & Fred Ferreira on August 11; and, Chicago mariachi ensemble Mariachi Herencia de Mexico on August 20.

Studio Senakwami presents The Gustavo Casenave Quartet featuring John Patitucci 6/9
Gustavo Casenave is a three time Latin Grammy Award nominee, a Steinway Artist and a 2015 ACE Awardee. Mr. Casenave is a Uruguayan pianist and composer who has collaborated and recorded with artists such as Yo-Yo Ma, Bette Midler, Eddie Gomez, Robert Duvall, Neil Sedaca among many others. The Quartet features the acclaimed, Grammy nominated jazz bassist John Patitucci. Mr. Patitucci was a member of three Chick Corea groups: the Electrik Band, the Akoustic Band and the Quartet. He has been honored to play with such musicians as Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter and Roy Haynes.
