Toronto Dance Theatre has announced a wide-ranging and kinetic programming line-up for 2024/25 that sees the company expand beyond the walls of the historic 80 Winchester Street Theatre, with a season that explores site specific work, durational performance, and interconnectivity.

Toronto Dance Theatre Presents THE MAGIC OF ASSEMBLY
Toronto Dance Theatre (TDT) has announced the details of a new collaborative production from street dance artist Ashley Colours Perez and Toronto-based protest electronic music duo LAL, working in collaboration with TDT Artistic Director Andrew Tay. Bringing together three distinct artistic points of view and aesthetics, The Magic of Assembly is on stage at the Winchester Street Theatre February 2 – 4 and 9 – 11, 2023.
LAL Releases DARK BEINGS on March 8
Canadian electronic duo will release their sixth album, and first in the United States, Dark Beings on March 8th via Cruisin Records, an independent label managed by Theo Hilton (Nana Grizol, Defiance, Ohio) and Clyde Petersen (Your Heart Breaks, Torrey Pines) with a mission to provide a space for queer artists to thrive. LAL Founding members Rosina Kazi and Nicholas Murray came from their local scenes of hip hop, punk, electronic and experimental music and blend all of those influences along with house and techno come together for the new release.

HERE ARE THE FRAGMENTS combines strong acting, independent exploration, and topical subject matter to create one of the most unique theatrical experiences in Toronto right now. Created by Dr. Suvendrini Lena, it's an immersive look into the life of Dr. Chauvet (Allan Louis), a Black doctor who is diagnosed with schizophrenia and psychosis after experiencing traumatic racist treatment from patients and coworkers.
