The British shoe designer Sophia Webster debuted her collaboration for J.Crew today. The 13 piece collection features her best-selling silhouettes in colorful prints and fabrics that tie in with the mass retailer's aesthetic. It seems like a natural fit and according to Webster: 'The brand has a real sense of fun and color that I love and I think that my designs compliment their clothes well.'

Ruth Wilson stars in the London premiere of The El. Train: three one-act plays by Eugene O'Neill (The Web, Before Breakfast and The Dreamy Kid). The plays, written between 1913 and 1918, are being presented together for the first time. Ruth acts in The Web and Before Breakfast, directed by Sam Yates, and makes her directorial debut with The Dreamy Kid. Combining live music with immersive design, all housed in the intimate setting of Grade II listed Hoxton Hall (built 1863, seating an audience of 125), The El. Train will run for a limited four-week season through 30 December. Check out photos from opening night below!

The British Fashion Council announced the winners of the British Fashion Awards 2013. Voted for by over 300 individuals in the fashion industry, the winners were awarded at the annual ceremony that took place Monday 2nd December at the London Coliseum. Guests including Samantha Cameron, Donatella Versace, Kate Moss, Harry Styles, Miuccia Prada, Gwyneth Paltrow, Sienna Miller, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Tinie Tempah.

LVMH and Nicholas Kirkwood announced that they have entered into a long-term partnership allowing the British shoe designer to further develop his vision and build his brand internationally. Under the terms of this agreement, LVMH will provide its expertise to Nicholas Kirkwood and own a majority stake in the company. This investment will be part of LVMH Fashion Group.

He received a prize is 200,000 pounds of funding help toward his label's growth, as well as mentorship in helping him reach his business goals. Kirkwood beat out other designers including Mary Katrantzou, Peter Pilotto, Emilia Wickstead and Roksanda Ilincic.

"They are still very much based on your classic men's shoe. The styles are meant to be simple in the pattern, and it really becomes about the material," Kirkwood told WWD.
