BIO

Nic Adams is a NYC-based theatre-maker. Upcoming works include: "Mean Time", a full-length comedy about revolutionary spirits set at a high-school drunk-driving assembly, and "The Comfort Illusion", an interactive performance poem charting one person’s struggle to rewild himself. Recent works include "Bun in the Oven", Dr. Eustice Sissy's scripted comedic spin-off podcast co-written with Lee Rayment (Corkscrew Festival, August 2020). Produced works include: "Duet-ed", co-created with Cori Marquis (2019); "Icarus in the L.E.S." (2017); "White Wines (after Plays)" (2015); "Six Church Poems" (2014); and "The Silent Janitor" (2013). His work has been presented at Judson Memorial Church, Joe's Pub, The Bushwick Starr, The Brooklyn Museum, JACK, and The Tank, and by The BEAT Festival, The Performing Garage Presents, and The Exponential Festival. Residencies and fellowships include Atlantic Center for the Arts, IRT Theater, Theater Reconstruction Ensemble, The In-Between People, and Oregon Shakespeare Festival. His writing has been published online at B O D Y Literature and in print with Avaantlanche. BA in Theatre Arts from The University of Arizona.
