Daniel Schumann, Lee Dean and Cambridge Arts Theatre in association with Birmingham Repertory Theatre today present the UK tour of Rebus: Long Shadows due to public demand. The production written exclusively for the stage by author of the original novels, Ian Rankin and playwright Rona Munro toured from September to November 2018, and in 2019 will tour to a further five cities - Glasgow from 29 January, then visiting Cardiff, Cambridge and Newcastle, before completing its run in Bath on 9 March.

The production written exclusively for the stage by author of the original novels, Ian Rankin and playwright Rona Munro toured from September to November 2018, and will tour to a further six cities, starting this week in Glasgow from 29 January. Then visiting Cardiff, Cambridge and Newcastle, Bath before completing its run in Kingston on 16 March.

Back by popular demand, Birmingham Repertory Theatre revives their 2014 production of John Steinbeck's classic Of Mice And Men for a limited run this February. Featuring a new cast, the show will open at The REP on 4 February 2016 before touring the UK until May.

BWW Reviews: WOMAN IN MIND, Birmingham Rep, June 17 2014
Woman In Mind is thought of as one of Alan Ayckbourn's best works. It is the English playwright's 32nd play and his earliest using a first-person narrative. The plot centres around Susan who, having hit herself in the head with a garden rake, is found at the start of the play concussed on her garden lawn. Following this she is surrounded by her idyllic family whom we soon realise are merely a figment of her imagination and her real family situation is far from picturesque! For most of the show's duration it is apparent what is fantasy and what is reality but towards the end of Act Two, the two scenarios begin to overlap and eventually collide in what can only be described as an epic meltdown.
