CROUCH, TOUCH, PAUSE, ENGAGE Coming to Arcola Theatre
Crouch, Touch, Pause, Engage - the critically-acclaimed play about Gareth Thomas, the first professional rugby player to come out while still playing - comes to Arcola Theatre this spring (20 May - 20 June 2015) following its current tour. Directed by Max Stafford-Clark, and written by Robin Soans, the play is a co-production by Out of Joint, National Theatre Wales and Arcola Theatre.

Howard Hawks, the quintessential Hollywood director known for his mastery of many genres, will be the subject of a complete retrospective at Museum of the Moving Image from today, September 7 through November 10, 2013. The Museum will present 39 features. All of the films will be shown in 35mm-many in stunning restorations-except for Red Line 7000, which will be shown in 16mm.

Outlaw Country Artist DALLAS MOORE Announces New Release
In eerie fashion, almost as a sign from the long gone masters of the genre, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, and Hank Williams Sr. himself, Moore's label Sol Records has released this epic 12 song cd seemingly in response to pop country artist Blake Shelton's recent statement that folks who perform and /or listen to classic country music are “old farts and jackasses.”
The Academy Explores Making of Tarzan 10/16 & 10/24
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will screen 'Tarzan and His Mate' (1934) and 'Tarzan Finds a Son!' (1939), and explore the secrets behind the making of these two jungle classics on Saturday, October 16, and Sunday, October 24, respectively, at the Academy's Linwood Dunn Theater in Hollywood. Presented by the Academy's Science and Technology Council, 'Me Tarzan, You Technology: The Magic of Tarzan in the Movies' will be hosted by Oscar-winning visual effects supervisor and Academy governor Craig Barron, with special guest Oscar-winning sound designer Ben Burtt. Both programs will begin at 7 p.m.
