Neda Spears most recently appeared in STEEL MAGNOLIAS at Cassidy Theater. She was previously seen in the Midwest premier of LAST STOP ON MARKET STREET with Talespinner Theater. Previous credits include LEAP OF FAITH, THE LAST STARFIGHTER ,THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MUSICAL, AVENUE Q, WE WILL ROCK YOU (Blank Canvas Theatre), INTO THE WOODS (Olde Towne Hall Theater at Oberlin High School), THE DROWSY CHAPERONE (Cassidy Theater), THE SPITFIRE GRILL (Access Theatre Project), MATILDA THE MUSICAL (Beck Center), SHERLOCK HOLMES: THE BAKER STREET IRREGULARS (Dobama Theatre), ALL NIGHT STRUT! (Theater in the Circle), A SONG FOR CORETTA and HUCK AND HOLDEN (Cleveland's Ensemble Theater). Originally from Warrensville Heights, she performed in productions in the early 90's at Berea Summer Theater (DROOD), Cain Park (ONCE ON THIS ISLAND), Chagrin Valley Little Theater (NUNSENSE), Mayfield JCC (WORLD GOES 'ROUND), and Beck Center (BIG RIVER). For 20 years, she lived in Chicago and performed at the Marriott Theatre ( HONK!), Court Theater (RAISIN), Drury Lane Oakbrook (BUDDY), Apple Tree Theatre (BIG RIVER), Chicago Shakespeare Theater (A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM), Northlight Theatre (SIDE SHOW), Oak Park Village Players (THE WHO'S TOMMY), American Theatre Company (TINTYPES) and with Roadworks Theatre (THE AMERICAN PLAN). She was also a part of the world premiere of Pearl Cleage's new play THE NACIREMA SOCIETY... that debuted at Alabama Shakespeare Theatre and the Alliance Theatre and also the originator of the role of "Momma" in THE AMERICAN GIRLS' REVUE, based on the popular children's books, that performed at Chicago's American Girl Place. Neda is proud to say she worked with Barry Manilow in his original show COULD IT BE MAGIC? at the Mercury Theater in Chicago.
