Composer-Percussionist Reynaliz Herrera Releases Debut Album: BIKEncerto: A Concerto For Solo Bicycle And Orchestra
Boston-based and Mexican-born composer-percussionist Reynaliz Herrera, with her ensemble Ideas, Not Theories, release their debut album on June 30, 2023. Praised for her 'toe-tapping vibe' by the Boston Globe, Reynaliz's four-movement work BIKEncerto continues her exploration of the bicycle-as-instrument, now with the accompaniment of a chamber orchestra.

Elan Ensemble Will Present SEVEN At Atwater Village Theatre
ELAN Ensemble has announced its upcoming production of Seven, a new adaptation of the documentary play. Under the direction of Natsuko Ohama with movement direction by Stephanie Shroyer, the production is set to open on Saturday, November 23, at 8pm and run through December 16 only at the Atwater Village Theatre.

First Nations Dialogues Presents A Series Of Indigenous-led Performances, Discussions, Workshops, And Ceremony Across New York City
First Nations Dialogues Lenapehoking/New York is an initiative that provides unprecedented exposure and a focus on Indigenous performing arts and artists based in Canada, the U.S., and Australia in partnership with multiple contemporary live performance platforms across New York City, January 5–12, 2019. First Nations Dialogues also kick-starts the development of the groundbreaking Global First Nations Performance Network (GFNPN), a pilot initiative focused on cultural change through the commissiong, touring, and presenting of Indigenous performance and building demand and capacity for the same within the presenting sector.

(Linda Shelton, Executive Director) is pleased to kick off the new year with the third annual American Dance Platform, a showcase of eight U.S.-based companies over one week at The Joyce Theater, made possible by a grant from The Harkness Foundation for Dance and dedicated to the memory of Theodore S. Bartwink, from January 9-14. Tickets, ranging in price from $10-$46, can be purchased at www.Joyce.org, or by calling JoyceCharge at 212-242-0800. Please note: ticket prices are subject to change.
