McCarter Announces 2024-2025 Dance Series, Returning This September
McCarter Theatre Center has announced its 2024-2025 Dance Series – featuring Ballet Hispánico, SW!NG OUT from superstar choreographer Caleb Teicher, Noli Timere – a new collaboration between Director/Choreographer/Princeton University Professor Rebecca Lazier and sculptor Janet Echelman, Seoul-based Bereishit Dance Company, and Twyla Tharp Dance. Also included as an optional season encore is the highly anticipated return of Pilobolus.

Penn Live Arts (PLA) closes its celebratory 50th anniversary season with SW!NG OUT, a joyful presentation of Lindy Hop choreography and improvisation conceived of by audience favorite and tap superstar Caleb Teicher, along with their Braintrust of collaborators Evita Arce, LaTasha Barnes and Nathan Bugh, all set to live swing music by the Eyal Vilner Big Band.
SW!NG OUT to be Presented in Week 3 of Jacob's Pillow's Festival 2022
In the third week of Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival 2022, audiences in the Ted Shawn Theatre will be treated to live music and the best of the swing dance world in SW!NG OUT. Also in Week 3, JazzAntiqua Dance & Music Ensemble, Prakriti Dance, Bill Shannon, and The New York Korean Performing Arts Center will take to the outdoor Henry J. Leir Stage.

To support the spirit of the city at a time of struggle, choreographer Caleb Teicher assembled an ensemble of dancers including LaTasha Barnes, Nathan Bugh, Gaby Cook, Abdiel Jacobsen, Jennifer Jones, and Macy Sullivan with acclaimed pianist and composer Conrad Tao playing live to create a new work that captures New York City in all its beauty and peril.
