In 'Radio Mystery 1949 ' by Dennis Richard, a post-WWII radio murder mystery is outdone by real-life drama when a mysterious actor carries what may or may not be a bomb into a sound stage during a live performance. The nail-biting production is directed by Richmond Shepard. Clarion Theatre, John P. Greene and Fae Simmons will present the piece tonight, September 15 to 26 at the Clarion Theatre, 309 East 26th Street, Manhattan.

Brenda Shoshanna's LOOKING FOR PARCIVAL to Premiere at Gene Frankel Theatre
In 'Looking for Parcifal,' the award-winning playwright Brenda Shoshanna parts the curtains on the strange interactions between family and staff in a seemingly normal hospice where nothing appears to go right. 'Looking for Parcival' receives its world premiere at the Gene Frankel Theatre, 24 Bond Street, beginning Tuesday January 20. Directed by Richmond Shepard, the serio-farce features a cast of six that includes Dan Burkarth, Daniel Hicks, Stacy Hull, Linda Landino, Nathaniel Moore, and Vanna Pilgrim. The production's two-week Off-Off-Broadway engagement plays through Saturday January 31, with an opening set for Sunday January 25 at 3pm.

The Marx Brothers, Mae West, Sophie Tucker, Bert Williams, Florence Mills, Eva Tanguay and more are headed your way when Voices of the Town - A Vaudeville Salute! invades the South Street Seaport. The show, which is geared for all ages, will be at Melville Gallery (213 Water Street just above Fulton) on October 26 at 7PM.

Ebony Black, an original children's musical that springs from Snow White, is being presented Saturdays at 3PM on September 22 & 29, courtesy of NY Artists Unlimited. Performances for children and family audiences are at the Players Theatre, 115 MacDougal St., in Greenwich Village.

Ebony Black, a contemporary, multicultural children's musical inspired by Snow White, arrives at South Street Seaport in May. Performances are Saturdays at 3 p.m., May 12, 19 & 26, at the Seaport District Cultural Association Performing Space, 212 W. 14 St., Suite #2A SW corner of Beekman & Front Streets.
