The Groovy Projects (www.thegroovyprojects.com) celebrates their second annual Groovy Project's 'FUNdraiser' Benefit Monday March 30, 2015 beginning at 6:00pm at Therapy Lounge and Bar (348 West 52nd St, NY, NY 10019). Hosted by Nate Lombardi (Founder, The Groovy Projects), the benefit features a buffet of hors d'oeuvres, special drinks and pricing, live musical performances, merriment, and a call to supporting arts education for students through the work of The Groovy Projects.

Dare to Go Beyond (D2GB) Children's Performing Arts Camp, an initiative of R.Evolucion Latina, successfully ended its run on Friday August 2nd. More than 200 kids, ages 7-17, gathered at the headquarters of Pearl Studio to share their experiences, learn to dance, sing and narrate their stories in creative ways and with a fascinating focus: Cultural Exchange. During the five-day camp participants took classes with some of the most experienced actors, dancers, and choreographers working on Broadway today. Check out a look back below!

R.Evolucion Latina's 6th D2GB Performing Arts Camp to Celebrate Cultural Exchange, 7/29-8/2
R.Evolucion Latina received a record breaking number of applications for the 6th Annual Dare to Go Beyond (D2GB) Children's Performing Arts Camp, scheduled for July 29th-August 2nd in New York City. After evaluating applications, over 200 children from schools, organizations and individual applicants from underserved communities have been selected to take classes in acting, voice, music and dance.

Gifted jazz vocalist Jane Monheit sang the score of Cole Porter's Anything Goes to swinging new arrangements by bassist Mary Ann McSweeney at the Broadway at Birdland concert series on Monday, September 19. This event was a fundraiser for The Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative. Broadway leading man Marc Kudisch joined in on the fun with a hilarious duet and dazzling solo turn during the sold-out, jazz-tinged evening of music.
