BIO

Natalie Ballenger, recently made her Solo debut at Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center with the National Chorale under the baton of Dr. Everett McCorvey. Natalie also made her Metropolitan Room debut performing for composer Maury Yeston as a Principle Soloist in A Bookseller in the Rain; An Evening Honoring Maury Yeston. Natalie returned to New York City after performing the role of Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady with the North Mississippi Symphony Orchestra. Natalie spent this summer at the Ohio Light Opera in the roles of Eliza (My Fair Lady), Nancy (Dream City and the Magic Knight), and Anetta (The Little King)! Past OLO highlights include: Susie Trevor (Lady Be Good), Josephine (HMS Pinafore), Wanda (The Grand Duchess of Gerolstein), Sarah Brown (Guys and Dolls), Lori (Miss Springtime), and Princess Diana (Jubilee). Last Spring, Natalie was awarded Third Place at the 2014 Lotte Lenya International Voice Competition, as well as making her NYC Symphony Space Debut as Kitty in Light Opera of NY's production of Orange Blossoms. Highlights from past productions include: Blanche (Dialogues of the Carmelities), Luisa (The Fantasticks), First Lady (The Magic Flute), Richard Traubner Memorial Concert, and the Loren L. Zachary Viennese Luncheon. Natalie is featured on numerous recordings with Albany Records, Operetta Archives, and Musicals Lost and Found including: Orange Blossoms (Kitty), HMS Pinafore (Josephine) and Miss Springtime (Lori), Melody (Andree/Paula), and Dryad's Kiss (Chenette). MR. MAGOO'S CHRISTMAS CAROL Benefits the Actors' Fund Tonight; Additional Casting Announced!

Additional casting has been announced for the one-night only concert presentation of the holiday classic Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol on Monday, December 16 at 7:30 pm at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College (524 W. 59th St.). The evening will be directed by Carl Andress with choreography by Nathan Peck, based on original choreography by Marcos Santana. Grammy Award and Emmy Award-winner John McDaniel has written new orchestrations for the score and will serve at the evening's music director, conducting a 28 piece on stage orchestra.
