The OAS AMA | Art Museum of the Americas, in collaboration with the Nohra Haime Gallery, presents Femininity Beyond Archetypes: Photography by Natalia Arias of Colombia. This exhibition highlights themes closely connected with OAS values through AMA's mission to positively impact discourse on social change through the arts. Arias's work highlights themes central to the Inter-American Commission of Women (CIM), the first regional inter-governmental agency established to ensure recognition of civil and political rights of women in the Americas.

Photo Flash: Inside Salgado Productions' VALENCIA Reading
Salgado Productions just presented the first staged reading of Carlos Mendoza's 'Valencia' musical at the Puerto Rican Traveling Theater as part of the 2013 Playwrights Unit Festival of Readings and Insight Series. Director/Choreographer Luis Salgado directed the reading as well as produce the show as it evolves. Broadway's In The Heights cast members Blanca Camacho, Doreen Montalvo and Ruben Flores are part of the cast that bring life to the very human characters of this compelling story of a loving elderly home, Valencia.

NATALIA ARIAS: NO PERMANENT, NO PERPETUAL, an exhibition comprised of 12 haunting photographs and an installation, will be on view at the Nohra Haime Gallery from May 1st through June 14th. Arias' new body of work expresses ideas of detachment, transition and revelation. Her approach is conceptual, daring and psychological.

THE PUSHING DAISY PROJECT is pleased to present the world premiere reading of PUSHING DAISY, written by Lauren Epsenhart and directed by Luis Salgado, as part of the 2nd Annual Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. The reading will take place June 23rd at 2pm at the Gene Frankel Theatre (24 Bond Street) in New York City.
