Oregon Shakespeare Festival Allen Elizabethan Theatre Opens 6/16-18
The Oregon Shakespeare Festival invites audiences to "be our guest" for a Falstaffian romp through merry old Windsor; a heroic, Homeric journey home to Ithaka; and a revelatory musical journey of self-discovery when its outdoor theatre opens the weekend of June 16-18. The Allen Elizabethan Theatre will feature The Merry Wives of Windsor, directed by Dawn Monique Williams; The Odyssey, adapted and directed by Mary Zimmerman; and Disney's Beauty and the Beast, directed by Eric Tucker. Previews begin June 6, and all three shows will run through the weekend of October 13-15.
OSF's Allen Elizabethan Theatre Opens Next Month
The Oregon Shakespeare Festival opens its outdoor theatre the weekend of June 12-14 with Shakespeare's ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA, directed by Bill Rauch; the world-premiere musical by Jeff Whitty with music and lyrics by the Go-Go's, HEAD OVER HEELS, directed by Ed Sylvanus Iskandar; and Alexandre Dumas's THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO, directed by Marcela Lorca. The shows will close the weekend of October 9-11.

Jennifer Gasoi's CD launch concert last month at the Rialto Theatre for her highly-anticipated second children and family music CD, Throw a Penny in the Wishing Well, was an outstanding success. Joining Jennifer were gifted musicians Andy Dacoulis (guitar), Richard Irwin (drums), John Sadowy (piano), Gilbert Joanis (bass), Jonathan Moorman (fiddle), Pat Vetter (saxophone), Ron DiLauro (trumpet) and Pierre Messier (accordion). This dynamic, celebratory concert was a family-outing highlight enjoyed by over 300 smiling, singing and dancing children, parents, friends and grandparents.

Showtunes! Presents Coward's 'Sail Away'
Showtunes! Theatre Company wraps up its successful 2007-2008 season with a production of the rarely staged Noël Coward musical comedy Sail Away. The Showtunes! book-in-hand, concert staging plays two performances only at the Kirkland Performance Center (350 Kirkland Ave, Kirkland, WA): Saturday May 3, 2008 at 8 PM and Sunday May 4, 2008 at 2 PM.
