Review: DONNIE LEE STRICKLAND at Brookstock Events
We here at Broadway World love to celebrate, and this time it was my birthday. So what did I do to party? I went to Brookstock Events’ Open House in Dover Saturday, May 25, to check out their venue and to see my friend DONNIE LEE STRICKLAND perform for the attendees, and we all had the best time. With free hot dogs, water, friends and the whole place singing happy birthday to me, there was no better way to celebrate.
We here at Broadway World love to celebrate, and this time it was my birthday. So what did I do to party? BWW Review: AN EVENING WITH SERGE CLIVIO AND FRIENDS, VOL. 2 Rocks the House at 54 Below
The room at 54 Below tonight was rocking with the beats of many genres of music blended together into an evening of joy and gratitude. The show was billed as AN EVENING WITH SERGE CLIVIO AND FRIENDS VOL. 2. There is truth in advertising. There were many friends who graced the stage with Clivio. This is the fourth time Serge has appeared at 54 Below including his previous Vol. 1 show which included some of the same friends gathered from his time at school and from the start-up company where he works. But tonight was a special night. After an especially challenging year, the singer was donating all the proceeds of tonight’s show to Memorial Sloan Kettering. And even though Clivio said he didn’t want the show to be about that (and it wasn’t,) the fact that they were speaks volumes about the heart and soul of this young and talented performer.

Fane have announced a live tour celebrating the prolific career of one of Ireland's best loved writers, Roddy Doyle. Conversations with Roddy Doyle will tour across the UK and Ireland in 2020 and will see Roddy discuss his work in an intimate and entertaining evening of sprawling conversation, with various special guest interviewers, beginning at HOME Manchester on Sunday 8th March 2020 and concluding at Belfast's Ulster Hall on Thursday 4th June 2020. Conversations with Roddy Doyle will take in a total of 10 dates across the UK and Ireland, tickets for all venues on sale from Thursday 14th November at www.fane.co.uk/roddy.
