Tony Nominee Euan Morton Bringing I (HEART) THE CARPENTERS to 54 Below in June

Following a sold-out 2013 debut at 54 Below, Tony Award nominee Euan Morton returns to the acclaimed Manhattan nightspot to launch his newest project, I (Heart) THE CARPENTERS. Backed by the newly-formed Downey CA Collective, Mr. Morton will perform songs made famous by the all-American jazz/pop duo Richard and Karen Carpenter. With songs from composers such as Burt Bacharach and Hal David, Paul Williams, Roger Nichols, Leon Russell, John Bettis and Richard Carpenter himself, I (Heart) THE CARPENTERS is fresh take - both extremely personal and totally universal - on mid-20th Century American pop genius, designed to be an emotional trip down memory lane for some and an exciting, memory-making first meeting for others. I (Heart) THE CARPENTERS will be performed on three consecutive Monday evenings in June: June 1st at 7 PM, June 8th at 9:30 PM, and June 15th @ 7 PM. Wayne Morton Joins Cast of TheatreZone's HIGH SCOIETY - THE MUSICAL, Opening 2/6

Veteran theater, television and commercial actor Wayne Morton returns to TheatreZone as the loveable and absent-minded Uncle Willie in the High Society - The Musical, the upper crust comedy featuring music by the legendary Cole Porter, opening Thursday, February 6 at the G&L Theatre in Naples.

Stageworks Media just launched the LIVE FROM GRAMERCY PARK cabaret series at The Players Club (16 Gramercy Park South). The series kicked-off last night, January 27th, 2014 with Tony nominee Euan Morton, backed by Grandpa Musselman & His Syncopators. Mr. Morton and the six-piece jazz ensemble performed a repertoire of turn of the century ragtime, 1920?s jazz and depression-era swing by composers such as Scott Joplin, Jelly Roll Morton and Duke Ellington. Euan Morton to Launch LIVE FROM GRAMERCY PARK Cabaret Series at The Players Club on 1/27

Stageworks Media proudly announces the launch of the LIVE FROM GRAMERCY PARK cabaret series at The Players Club (16 Gramercy Park South). The series will kick-off on Monday January 27th, 2014 with Tony nominee Euan Morton, backed by Grandpa Musselman & His Syncopators. Mr. Morton and the six-piece jazz ensemble will perform a repertoire of turn of the century ragtime, 1920?s jazz and depression-era swing by composers such as Scott Joplin, Jelly Roll Morton and Duke Ellington. Show times are at 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM (doors open 45 minutes prior to show time). Tickets are priced at $25-$35 (cocktails and light fare will be available, but there is NO food or drink minimum). Tony Nominee Euan Morton to Join Cynthia Von Buhler's SPEAKEASY DOLLHOUSE, 11/16-12/7

Transporting audiences to an era of mobsters, moonshine, and murder, Cynthia von Buhler's SPEAKEASY DOLLHOUSE brings an actual unsolved Prohibition-era murder to life in the downtown building that once served as mobster Meyer Lansky's hangout. For three upcoming Saturday performances - November 16, November 23, and December 7 - Tony Award nominee Euan Morton will step into the DOLLHOUSE to play the role of bandleader "Henry Azelrod," performing with members of the jazz band Grandpa Musselman & His Syncopators.
Orlando Bloom and Condola Rashad Lead ROMEO AND JULIET, Opening Tonight at the Richard Rodgers Theatre

International film star Orlando Bloom makes his Broadway debut alongside Tony Award nominee Condola Rashad, as Shakespeare's star-crossed lovers in a new Broadway production of the timeless love story Romeo and Juliet, directed by five-time Tony Award nominee David Leveaux. The show opens on Broadway tonight, September 19, 2013 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. The production also stars two-time Tony Award nominee Jayne Houdyshell as the Nurse and Tony Award nominee Joe Morton as Lord Capulet.

Ocean State Theatre Company (OSTC), the not-for-profit producing entity at the historic Theatre By The Sea takes a trip down memory lane as it opens Theatre By The Sea's 2011 Children's Festival with the stage version of the pop culture phenomenon, Schoolhouse Rock Live! on Friday, July 8, 2011.
Euan Morton, Katie Thompson Featured in Signature's Cabaret Series

The Tony Award-winning Signature Theatre continues to celebrate its successful 21st season with two cabaret shows in February that highlight the voices of the award-winning singer/actress Katie Thompson (Signature's Giant) and the acclaimed Scottish performer Euan Morton (Broadway's Taboo; Signature's Chess). The performance dates for Mr. Morton - who has been called 'sensational' by The New York Times - are February 10th and 11th, followed by Ms. Thompson and her 'shiveringly good' voice (The Washington Times), from February 22nd through the 26th.
