The future of Australia's largest multi-arts precinct has been secured thanks to extraordinary support from a group of benefactors and commitment to providing a 10 + 5 + 5 year precinct lease and 5 year funding from the NSW Government, the Carriageworks Board of Directors announced today.

On Wednesday, November 6 at 7 pm, in partnership with the Princeton Public Library, Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) presents Soundtracks: a?oeThe New American Canon: Broadway, Film, Jazz, and Popa?? with former PSO Assistant Conductor, now Music Director of Wheeling Symphony Orchestra, John Devlin. Mr. Devlin talks about the new American music canon which has expanded far beyond the standards of the American songbook.
Sierra Boggess Performs All-New Program With PSO
Award-winning Broadway star Sierra Boggess returns Saturday, February 10 to the Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) stage for a single night of show-stopping music from Hollywood and the Broadway stage. John Devlin serves as the evening's conductor and host. Ms. Boggess performs songs from West Side Story, The Little Mermaid, The Wizard of Oz, Pocahontas, The Sound of Music, Phantom of the Opera, and much more! Under the direction of Mr. Devlin, the orchestra plays music from Star Wars and Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl and musical gems from iconic Broadway shows. The concert takes place at 8pm at Richardson Auditorium in Alexander Hall on the campus of Princeton University.
PSO Holiday POPS! Wonderlands Concert to be Held 12/19
On Saturday, December 19 at 4 pm, the Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) presents Holiday POPS! Wonderlands featuring festive music sparked by imaginative visions of distant lands. Conducted by John Devlin, concert highlights include works by Vaughan-Williams, Tchaikovsky, Humperdinck, and Sibelius. The Princeton High School Choir performs Handel's Hallelujah Chorus from Messiah and arrangements of "I Saw Three Ships" and "Twelve Days of Christmas," accompanied by the orchestra. The traditional sing-along, an arrangement of seasonal favorites by Leroy Anderson, includes the addition of young violinists of El Sistema-Trenton playing alongside PSO professionals. The student musicians also perform David Rimelis' "Three Little Birds/Ode to Joy."
