At the Annual General Meeting earlier today, Andrew M. Pringle fulfilled his duties as the Shaw Festival's Chair of the Board of Governors. During his remarks, Mr. Pringle passed the torch to Chair Designate Peter Jewett and announced new Board members Ian Joseph, Kevin Patterson and Julian Rance.

THE PRODUCERS Begins Performances Tomorrow at Paper Mill Playhouse

The Producers features music and lyrics by Mel Brooks, a book by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan, and the original Broadway direction and choreography by Susan Stroman.
South Shore Theater Company Names New Executive Director & Artistic Director
THE BAY COLONY SHAKESPEARE COMPANY, the fastest-growing professional theatre company on the South Shore of Boston, today announced the appointment of Eric Joseph, 56, to the position of President and Executive Director. Mr. Joseph joins the BCSC after returning from New York City as the Senior Vice President of Sponsorship and Marketing for Clear Channel Entertainment and Broadway Across America, where he was responsible for securing and overseeing sponsorship and marketing extensions of Clear Channel's Broadway investments and subsequent tours in over 50 markets. Mr. Joseph, a Marshfield resident raised in Cohasset, MA, will assume responsibility for the funding and administration of the BCSC immediately and takes the reins from retiring Founder and Artistic Director, Neil McGarry, who is departing the area with his family. Mr. McGarry will return to perform his one-man version of "A Christmas Carol" over the 2016 holidays and continue to work as an actor with the BCSC when in the area.

This winter, SGT presents Pulitzer Prize-winner Rajiv Joseph's uncommon love story ANIMALS OUT OF PAPER, a vibrant and nuanced peek into the creative process that shapes three lives, directed by Devon de Mayo. 54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents David Josefsberg in "The Devil Inside" on August 3rd at 7pm. The show is about "The Devil Inside" Mr. Josefsberg. Most people know David as a sweet, innocent, wonderful, decent human being (yeah right) but David also has a dark side. There will be some Jason Robert Brown, Stevie Wonder, and some Queen, but there will also be some filthy, hilarious, off-color material written by Josefsberg himself.

Starring David Beck, Nairoby Otero, and Maneesh Sasikumar, this limited Off-Broadway engagement opens tonight, February 12. Performances continue through February 28th, 2015 only.

Rajiv Joseph to Recieve 2015 Laurents/Hatcher Award
The Trustees of The Laurents / Hatcher Foundation, Inc. are pleased to announce that THE GUARDS AT THE TAJ by RAJIV JOSEPH has been selected for the 2015 LAURENTS / HATCHER FOUNDATION AWARD. The foundation will provide a $50,000 cash award to Mr. Joseph and a grant of $100,000 to go directly towards the production costs of the play's premiere at THE ATLANTIC THEATER COMPANY.
