BIO

MORGAN SMITH-They are a librettist, playwright, producer, and lyricist. Morgan also writes fiction while studying English at New York University. Their short fiction has been published in the US and internationally, winning awards in national contests like the Faulkner Literary Competition. They currently work at The Trans Lab, which has reinvigorated their desire to write diverse stories. They are an alumni of programs at Yale, Juilliard, and Bryn Mawr College. Morgan is the playwright of Ogygia and Oceanborn, both of which premiered Off- Broadway in 2019, making them the youngest playwright to do so.
