Mitch Sebastian

Mitch Sebastian began dancing at an early age and first appeared on the West End stage at the London Palladium at the age of 17. He has since appeared in 12 West End musicals among them CABARET, CHILDREN OF EDEN, FOLLIES, STARLIGHT EXPRESS, LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, CATS, LES MISERABLES, PACIFIC OVERTURE, THE WHO’S TOMMY.

Abandoning performing to choreograph he found instant success with West End productions of ROMANCE ROMANCE, LA CAVA and PLAYHOUSE CREATURES. He was stage director for a series of concerts for LONDON PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA under the baton of Kurt Masur and created a startling production of IOLANTHE for the D’Oyly Carte Opera Company.

He later became a choreographer gaining international success
with World Concert tours for various pop artists.

In 2004 he was nominated for an Olivier Award and WhatsOnStage Award for
writing and directing the West End hit show RATPACK. He went on to direct the
film for American television; productions continue to play worldwide. Previously
directed and choreographed the OLIVIER AWARDS CEREMONY and won a
BAFTA Award for his work on the children’s animation series YOKO JAKAMOTO
TOTO.

He has collaborated with Paula Abdul to create a new entertainment, CHEER!
and with Hiroaki Omote in Japan to generate SAVIOUR IV multi media series.

From 2007 - 2015 he has been the Artistic Director of Kilworth House Open Air Theatre

He collaborated with Stephen Schwartz on a radical re-staging of PIPPIN (Setting the play in the world of video games) produced at the Menier Chocolate Factory, London. He is credited with creating the 'new ending' of the show.

Original work includes THE OPERA SHOW which has been seen on tour in the USA and Europe. He is currently working for Wanda Dalian and Evergrande creating original large scale entertainment and theatres in China.
