I DON'T NEED AN ACTING CLASS Podcast Hosted by Milton Justice to Be Released This Month

I Don't Need an Acting Class, a new weekly podcast hosted by Academy and Emmy Award winner and celebrated acting teacher Milton Justice, will be released this month, beginning on March 10th, 2020. Based on his forthcoming book of the same name, the podcast seeks to demystify the craft of acting while answering the question, 'Why take an acting class?'
Walker Vreeland's FROM SHIP TO SHAPE Comes to Bay Street Theater

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce Walker Vreeland's FROM SHIP TO SHAPE will be performed one night only on Monday, June 10 at 7 pm. The show comes to the East End following an extended sold-out run Off-Broadway. The solo performance stars and is written by award-winning radio personality Walker Vreeland. The show is a compelling autobiographical monologue and includes songs performed by Mr. Vreeland.

Stanley Bahorek, Formerly at Yale, Comes To Five Towns College

Stanley Bahorek has joined the Theatre Department faculty at Five Towns College in Dix Hills, Long Island. Bahorek, a Former lecturer at the Yale Drama School, joins Department Chair David Kresner, former Head of Undergraduate Theater Studies at Yale, and Academy Award winner Milton Justice, also a former Yale professor. Professor Bahorek most recently appeared on Broadway in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and can be seen on the Emmy Award winning Netflix show Master of None. He will be directing the Fall musical production, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Playing November 15th through the 18th.
BWW Review: LANFORD WILSON'S 5TH OF JULY at Five Towns College

It was an enchanting gathering with the Talley family at the Five Towns College Performing Arts Center's dynamite production of Lanford Wilson's 'Fifth Of July.' This Broadway classic was beautifully and intimately brought back to life by director Milton Justice. It was as if we were members of the Talley family, sitting in their backyard watching and witnessing our relatives, played by an amazing troop of fresh young actors, mix family squabble with laughter and tears.

Michael Moore Among Artists Recognized At United Solo Festival Gala

United Solo, the world's largest solo theatre festival, concluded its eighth season with a Gala at Theatre Row in New York. Throughout its ten-week run, the festival offered 120 stage productions, representing six continents, performed mostly in English, but also in Bulgarian, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Russian, Spanish, and in the category of physical theatre through body language. Nearly 60 shows sold out, and were presented several times due to popular demand. Fiona Show called United Solo 'the mecca of the solo shows in the world.' This past season, the festival presented productions created by new talents, as well as show business veterans, including Oscar winner Milton Justice and Emmy winner Bill Oberst Jr. This year's festival also offered Master Classes led by Pau Aran Gimeno, a performer at Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch; James Lecesne, an actor, activist, author of the screenplay for an Oscar-winning film; and Austin Pendleton, a renowned actor and director, and a recipient of the Drama Desk Special Award.

Managing Director John Jack Rodgers announced today that The Stella Adler Academy has formed a new theatre within the Stella Adler Academy.
