Award-Winning Film CLOSURE Sets Theatrical Debut

2nd Annual Star-Studded Mammoth Film Festival Unveils Shorts & Episodics In First Round Of Official Selections
Announcing today the first round of Official Selections in Shorts and Episodics category for the upcoming 2nd Annual Mammoth Film Festival. Last year's inaugural festival drew headlines for being 'the biggest first year film festival ever organized' and this year's lineup and events aim to repeat and expand the momentum. The festival is expanding to 5 days and taking place February 7-11, 2019 in the town of Mammoth Lakes, CA. The festival's slate of World Premieres include feature films, short films, indie episodics, VR, and a wide variety of documentaries. Additional projects will be announced in the coming weeks, and MammothFF is excited to align itself with other great film festivals like HollyShorts and SeriesFest in year two of the festival.
Playwright Alex Goldberg's Film CLOSURE To Premiere At DCIFF
5100 Films, 103rd Street Productions, Kampfire Films, Red Spear Productions and Writer/Director Alex Goldberg (Off Broadway's It Is Done) are pleased to announce the World Premiere of Goldberg's CLOSURE at the D.C. Vision Vehicle Productions announced today that the independent studio has sold worldwide rights to its next two features, PASS THE LIGHT and CONSTRUCTION, to DigiNext. Both films will be released theatrically and downstream through DigiNext's unique direct-to-consumer (DtoC) platform, a customized end-to-end solution for independent features and documentaries. Digiplex (NASDAQ: DCIN), DigiNext's JV co-owner with Nehst Out, agreed to be acquired by Carmike Cinemas (NASDAQ: CKEC), the nation's fourth largest exhibitor, in a transaction announced in May. Inclusive of the 200+ screens being purchased, Carmike's domestic footprint will expand to approximately 3,000 screens across 41 states. Vision Vehicle Productions' features will be the first narrative films to utilize this unique theatrical release and DtoC distribution platform.
