Shattered Globe Theatre Announces New Ensemble Members & Artistic Associates
Shattered Globe Theatre has announced the addition of six new Ensemble Members and six new Artistic Associates. Ensemble members include Demetra Dee, Tina M. Jach, Tina Muñoz Pandya, Hailey Rakowiecki, Jazzma Pryor and Devonte E. Washington. Artistic Associates include Mikey Gray, Lawrence Grimm, Jason Lynch, David Antonio Reed, Adam Schulmerich and Leslie Ann Sheppard.

Silent Theatre Company presents a brand new, site specific, immersive play, Incomplete Conversations. This play will take place in every room of Tapestry Fellowship Church (3824 W. Irving Park) and explores the emotional shockwaves of an unexpected death within a family and a church community. It wrestles with questions of when we ought to speak up, when we ought to keep quiet and how to love people with whom we disagree. To accomplish this exploration, the audience is invited to enter and immerse themselves in multi-dimensional action that will fill up all the spaces in this real church where the family prepares to bury the young pastor, say their goodbyes and maybe find out who killed him.

Cast Announced for Pride Films and Plays' HOLDING THE MAN
Complete cast and crew have been announced for Pride Films and Plays' Chicago premiere of HOLDING THE MAN, a drama from Australia chronicling the 15-year relationship of a real-life gay male couple, based on Timothy Conigrave's celebrated memoir of the same name. In 1976, Tim and John meet as teenagers at their all-boys Catholic school in Melbourne and become boyfriends. The story follows them into adulthood as their relationship endures in spite of such obstacles as parental resistance, differing views on monogamy, separation, and finally HIV.
Francis Guinan and Sean Fortunato to Lead THE BOOK OF JOSEPH World Premiere at Chicago Shakespeare
Chicago Shakespeare Theater (CST) announces the cast and creative team for the world premiere of The Book of Joseph, a new play by award-winning playwright Karen Hartman chronicling three generations of the Hollander family in a sweeping story that spans history from occupied Poland to present-day America. Directed by CST Artistic Director Barbara Gaines and developed with Creative Producer Rick Boynton, The Book of Joseph debuts in the theater Upstairs at Chicago Shakespeare, January 29-March 5, 2017.
