Shakespeare Project Of Chicago Will Perform THE COMEDY OF ERRORS
The Shakespeare Project of Chicago will continue its return to live, in-person performances of its namesake playwright with free theatrical readings of THE COMEDY OF ERRORS. Shakespeare's first comedy, a farce of mistaken identities, directed by Peter Garino, The Project's artistic director, runs June 15 and 17 at two Chicagoland venues.
THE WINTER WOLF Returns To Otherworld Theatre, December 7
Returning for the Holiday season, Otherworld Theatre will produce The Winter Wolf, their hit holiday-themed fairy tale written by Joseph Zettelmaier and directed by company member Sara Robinson. The play runs December 7, 2019 - December 29, 2019 at Otherworld Theatre. The Winter Wolf was produced in 2018, and will be returning for its second consecutive holiday season. The Artistic Home Presents REQUIEM FOR A HEAVYWEIGHT, Opens February 17
Rod Serling's REQUIEM FOR A HEAVYWEIGHT, a drama of a punch-drunk fighter long past his prime, was originally written as a play, but first became a landmark live television drama of the "golden age" starring Jack Palance. The Artistic Home production will open on February 17, 2019 following previews from February 13.

Redtwist Theatre presents Frost/Nixon by Peter Morgan, and directed by Scott Weinstein, featuring Redtwist company member & Jeff Award-winner Brian Parry as Richard Nixon. The show opens Saturday, April 21, 2018, at 3pm (this is also the press opening) and runs Thu, Fri, Sat at 7:30pm; Sun at 3pm, through Sun, May 20.

The Artistic Home Artistic Director Kathy Scambiatterra announced today that the company's production of By the Bog of Cats, by Marina Carr, will extend its run by an additional three weeks to meet the overwhelming demand for seats. The Chicago Tribune's Kerry Reid said of it 'Mossman and his cast dig into the textures of Carr's script with gusto and sensitivity. Collins gives a bravura performance.' The Artistic Home's production, which opened to the press on February 13, is directed by Jeff Award winner and ensemble member John Mossman.
