Splice Records Signs Austin-Based Band Tomar & The FCs
Houston-based Splice Records is thrilled to announce that they have just recently signed Austin-based, soul band Tomar & The FCs to their roster. Splice Founder and Owner Shaun Brennan first discovered Tomar & The FCs when he and a friend attended a show at historic Houston venue, the Continental Club in 2016. After Tomar & The FCs' electric, high-energy performance, Brennan immediately bought two of their albums and booked them to play Splice Records' annual River Revival Music Fest where they headlined the main stage during a Friday night slot. After continuously booking them at various venues in Houston and Austin, Brennan was compelled to work with the soul virtuosos and signed them in 2018.

Executive Director Gary Hygom approached Carmichael about bringing her NPR / Sirius-XM radio series Judy Carmichael's Jazz Inspired, now its eighteenth year, to the Main Stage.
