Billboard Selects Orion Amphitheater As 'Top East Coast Amphitheater' on 2024 Top Music Venues List
The accolade follows a triumphant 2023 season for The Orion, as it hosted 32 concerts and 83 community and cultural events last year, welcoming some of music's biggest names such as Lana Del Rey, Brandi Carlile, Snoop Dogg, James Taylor, Phish, Billy Strings, Widespread Panic, Ja Rule and Ashanti, Turnpike Troubadours, Weezer and many more.

Picking up where the season opener A Journey That Wasn't, Part 1 left off, A Journey That Wasn't, Part 2 will continue to explore how artists manipulate time through memory, appropriation and repetition, themes examined by the museum's exhibition, A Journey That Wasn't.

Splice Records Signs Austin-Based Band Tomar & The FCs
Houston-based Splice Records is thrilled to announce that they have just recently signed Austin-based, soul band Tomar & The FCs to their roster. Splice Founder and Owner Shaun Brennan first discovered Tomar & The FCs when he and a friend attended a show at historic Houston venue, the Continental Club in 2016. After Tomar & The FCs' electric, high-energy performance, Brennan immediately bought two of their albums and booked them to play Splice Records' annual River Revival Music Fest where they headlined the main stage during a Friday night slot. After continuously booking them at various venues in Houston and Austin, Brennan was compelled to work with the soul virtuosos and signed them in 2018.

Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts is proud to present Grammy nominated jazz pianist, vocalist and songwriter Judy Carmichael in 'Swing Time!' on Saturday, March 24 at 8 p.m., her first performance in a Jazz Inspired series that Carmichael has curated in partnership with Patchogue Theatre. Executive Director Gary Hygom approached Carmichael about bringing her NPR / Sirius-XM radio series Judy Carmichael's Jazz Inspired, now its eighteenth year, to the Main Stage.
