Mika Lee Kauffman

Mika (they/them) is a queer multi-hyphenate artist, primarily a musical writer, director, dramaturg, producer and performer. They firmly believe in leading with empathy and creating equitable, collaborative spaces for marginalized people of all abilities and all racial, cultural and gender identities and expressions. Their work has been featured at Goodspeed, Green Room 42, Joe’s Pub, The Laurie Beechman, The Kraine, The PIT, and Signature Theater (Arlington). They are an active member of Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, Ring of Keys, Musical Theatre Factory and Poetic Theater Productions. They are currently developing The Trans Theatre Alliance (TTA), a theatrical union that represents (in)visible binary and nonbinary trans artists.
