Sixth of the eight children of the singer and actor Antonio Molina; brother of Ángela, Paula, Mónica and Noel and uncle of Olivia Molina, has four children, Clara and Adrián, born of their relationship with the model Kirsa van Pallandt; Andrea, born of her relationship with the actress Lydia Bosch; and Antonio, born of his relationship with the Icelandic scriptwriter and director Katrin Olafsdóttir.

Decided very soon by the interpretation, he debuted in 1980 with the film Maravillas, by Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón, in the role of Miki, a nickname that he adopts professionally. Shortly after he starred in 1919: "Crónica del alba" for which he was awarded at the San Sebastian Film Festival as a revelation actor in 1981, a continuation of the film adaptation of the novel by Ramón J. Sender, which in its first part was interpreted by Jorge Sanz .

In 1987 it appears in one of the main papers of the law of the desire, film directed by Pedro Almodóvar where it incarnates to a handsome young bisexual of independent spirit. With Gutiérrez Aragón he repeats leading Malaventura (1988).

He debuted at the Teatro Romano de Mérida in 1995 with Hipólito, by Eurípides, together with María Asquerino and Juan Diego. Also in 1998 he participated in the montage of The Mousetrap (1998), by Agatha Christie, with Jaime Blanch.2 After playing Ulysses in Ithaca, an adaptation of Homer's Odyssey produced and premiered at the Spanish Theater and later at the Festival of Classical Theater of Mérida in 2006; He returns to the stage as producer and protagonist of the Uncle Bob montage, the work of American playwright Austin Pendleton that mixes drama with social criticism.

His latest theatrical projects include the play De Miguel a Miguel, premiered in 2010, in which the great poet Miguel Hernández is revived. And in 2012 he directs with the company Sa Penya Escènica the play The Last Light of the Day.

In the year 2017, he was a male protagonist in the film "El collar de la sal" by Vicente Perez Herrero, this same year he also had a role in the film by Alfredo Contreras.

Among his latest cinematographic works, he stands out as an actor in feature films "Me llamo Genet", "Gina", "Burga" and "El secreto de Ibosin".

At present he has just finished shooting "... a precious time" his debut as a filmmaker, involved as a scriptwriter and director. A feature film shot between Madrid and Ibiza, with the participation of Saturnino Garcia, Carlos Pulido.
