BIO

Micheline’s recent productions include the Untitled Degradation Play (Rising Phoenix Rep’s Cino Nights Series, Winter 2013) and American River (Lesser America, Summer, 2012). Her other work has been developed or produced by Dixon Place, Primary Stages, Westside Theatre, Miranda Theatre, Amoralab, NY International Fringe Festival, New York Madness, OMPF, Horsetrade Theatre Co, Riot Act, Caps Lock Theatre Company, Sugarspace and Highways Performance Complex, among others. She is the recipient of the 2012 National Theater Conference Paul Green Award, creator of the theater blog Theaterspeak and the creator/producer of Write Out Front: A Playwright Happening which put 76 up-and-coming and professional playwrights in the Drama Bookshop Storefront Window writing plays for three weeks in August 2012. WOF 2014 is in the works. The Untitled Degradation play is a semi-finalist for the O’Neill Playwrights Conference and How the Donkey Got Punched is being produced May 24th - June 22nd by Ivy Theatre in NYC.

Now in its ninth season of supporting emerging writers The Farm Theater has awarded their 2021/22 College Collaboration Project Commission to playwright Jake Brasch (Greenland at Dixon Place; Salutations, I'm Creative Dave at Alchemical Theatre Laboratory). Jake will collaborate with Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN and Pellissippi State College in Knoxville, TN. Austin Peay is participating in The Farm Theater's College Collaboration Project for the first time. This will be Pellissippi State's second year, following their partnership in 2018-19.

The Farm Theater Awards Lia Romeo With 2020/21 College Collaboration Project Commission

Now in its seventh season of supporting emerging female writers The Farm Theater has awarded their 2020/21 College Collaboration Project Commission to playwright Lia Romeo (The Forest, featured on The Kilroys' List; NYIT Award nominee for Connected at 59E59). Ms. Romeo will collaborate with Centre College in Danville, KY (fall 2020) and Wells College in Aurora, NY (spring 2020). This will be Centre College's fourth time participating in The Farm Theater's College Collaboration Project.

Now in its sixth season of supporting emerging female writers The Farm Theater has awarded their 2019/20 College Collaboration Project Commission to playwright Judith Leora. Ms. Leora will collaborate with Hillsborough Community College in Hillsborough, FL (fall 2019), Birmingham Southern College in Birmingham, AL (winter 2020), and Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA (spring 2020). This will be Birmingham Southern College's second time participating in The Farm Theater's College Collaboration Project. 
The Farm Theater Announces 2018-19 College Collaboration Project

Now in its fifth season of supporting emerging female writers The Farm Theater will present their 2018/19 College Collaboration Project with playwrights Kimberly Belflower and Erin Malon. The projects will kick-off in February when each playwright will have an opportunity to converse with groups of students from each of the partner schools via video, to discuss the theme they are writing about and shape the direction of their individual pieces. Each of the plays will have a three-day workshop, cast with professional actors, in NYC in August 2018. The projects will each culminate in a public reading in NYC in June 2019 with a cast made up of students from each school along side professional actors.

The Farm Theater Sets 2016 Season

The Farm Theater announces their 2016 season, which will include six new installments of the popular bi-monthly Bullpen Sessions, workshops on play development and auditing for grad school, the College Collaboration Project with playwright Micheline Auger at the University of West Florida and Centre College in KY, the Barnstorming Project with playwright Christopher Gabriel Núñez and the Maryland Area Community College Performing Arts Collective, and World Premiere plays by Vickie Tanner and Lindsay Joy. 
Lineup Announced for 'Festival of the Emerging Musical' in Philadelphia

The University of the Arts' Ira Brind School of Theater Arts announces the 2016 lineup for Polyphone, a "festival of the emerging musical" on the UArts campus in Philadelphia.  Running March 20-27, the 2016 the Polyphone festival produces staged concerts of new musicals and re-imagined canonical works offering professional composers, librettists and directors an opportunity to develop their work among the rich creative community of the Brind School at UArts.  The festival will program five musicals, including both classical and new works, with three performances each.
