Romanian-born Florinel Fatulescu directs for a Sept. 22 opening, with performances continuing through Nov. 4 at the Odyssey Theatre in West L.A.

Most recently, Martin directed the critically acclaimedChristopher Durang play, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, which opened on Broadway last March. The Museum of Modern Art marks the closing of its critically acclaimed exhibition Quay Brothers: On Deciphering the Pharmacist's Prescription for Lip-Reading Puppets with the United States premiere of the Quay Brothers' new film, The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka, presented in a special run on January 6 and 7, 2013, in The Roy and Niuta Titus Theater 1. Commissioned by Russian-born French pianist Mikhail Rudy in affiliation with Cité de la musique in Paris, where it premiered last March, the film will be screened with live piano accompaniment by Rudy, performing the music of Czech composer Leo? Janáek. The screenings are presented as part of MoMA's The Contenders 2013 film series.
