BIO

Michael Taglieri is New York City singer, actor, and pianist. In 2006, Michael played the ensemble role of Lenny in Hairspray! at North Shore Music Theater and later went on to play Hud in Hair at Seacoast Repertory Theater. Concert performances include the 2011 Jason Robert Brown and Georgia Stitt Gala at the Kaye Playhouse and featured artist spots at the Annual Pride Benefit at the Hatch Shell, Boston. Recently he was seen in the 50th Anniversary National tour of iClifford The Big Red Dog: LIVE. Most recently, Michael was in the workshop of Matt Gould and Griffin Mathews' Witness Uganda directed by Diane Paulus, which will be seen at the ART next year. A year ago Michael finished his training at the CAP21 Conservatory after studying at the Walnut Hill School for the Arts and the Musicians Institute of Los Angeles. He would like to thank his friends, family, and two fabulous mothers for their support.

New Musical By New York Teen Tate Robinson, CHAMELEON, Premiers At Emelin Theatre

"Chameleon", a new musical with book, music and lyrics by Tate Robinson, a 17-year old high school student from Westchester, New York, premieres at the Emelin Theatre in Mamaroneck, July 12 and 13, 2018. Chameleon is the haunting tale of two brothers struggling to get out of a dead-end town, accompanied by an arrangement of lyrics and music that stretches from jazz to hip hop, soul to R&B and everything in between. Artistree Performing Arts proudly presents this original production.

Very Intense Productions and Your Theatrics (Jeremy Youett and Jacob Harvey) will present Ryan Scott Oliver's Darling, at 54 Below (254 West 54th Street, New York, NY) on Monday, November 4 at 7:00 and 9:30 p.m. Darling is produced in association with Grammy Award winning Kurt Deutsch and Sh-k-boom, and is part of RSO Fest, a series of concerts showcasing the scores of three new musicals by composer Ryan Scott Oliver. RSO Fest launched at New York's premier Supper Club, 54 Below, on October 7 with 35mm: A Musical Exhibition (in association with Tony Award winning producer John Johnson and will conclude with Jasper in Deadland completing the trilogy on Monday, November 18 (produced in association with Prospect Theater Company).

Diane Paulus Will Helm WITNESS UGANDA Workshop

Tony Nominee Diane Paulus (Porgy and Bess, Pippin) is directing the workshop of Witness Uganda. Witness Uganda is the winner of the 2012 Richard Rodgers Award for Staged Readings, administered by the American Academy of Arts and Letters.
