January 2022 Programming Announced at the TSO: Music to Ring In the New Year
The Toronto Symphony Orchestra rings in the new year with a range of musical experiences from the classical precision of Bach and the romance of Wagner and Mendelssohn, to the jazz stylings of the great “Satchmo”—Louis Armstrong. Toronto Symphony Orchestra Single Tickets On Sale September 16 for Concerts in First Half of Season
Single tickets to the Toronto Symphony Orchestra's previously announced 2021/22 season will go on sale September 16, for concerts through to February 2022. Single tickets for the remainder of the season will go on sale at a later date when there are updated capacity limits during the winter/spring months. The first half of the season will feature shorter concerts with no intermission and works selected for smaller ensembles to allow for distance on stage.
Toronto Symphony Orchestra Announces 2021/22 Season
The long-awaited reunion between the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and its patrons is scheduled for November 10, 2021, with 30 dynamic programs running through June of 2022. The return to live performances will be defined by the leadership of Music Director Gustavo Gimeno, who will mark his first complete season on the podium, conducting 11 subscription programs.

Round House Theatre Announces Casting For 2018-2019 Season

Russian Crime Novelist and Political Dissident Boris Akunin to Take on HAMLET Off-Broadway
The best-selling Russian crime fiction writer Boris Akunin's new stage adaptation of Shakespeare's HAMLET will debut this spring Off-Broadway when Red Lab Productions and Roust Theatre Company present HAMLET. A VERSION, with previews beginning April 21, prior to the official press opening on April 25 at The Theater at St. Clement's (423 W. 46 St.) in New York City. HAMLET. A VERSION is directed by Irina Gachechiladze. The production features original music by Georgian composer Giya Kancheli.
Toronto Symphony's New Creations Festival Kicks Off Today
The Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO) brings avant-garde, contemporary music to Toronto this March. Revered Australian composer, conductor, and violist Brett Dean joins festival conductor and host Peter Oundjian to curate the TSO's 12th annual New Creations Festival, taking place today, March 5, through March 12, 2016.
