70+ Broadway Stars Unite in Support of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz
New York’s theater community is organizing to support Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 presidential election. Broadway for Harris is a volunteer coalition of industry professionals and theater enthusiasts united to elect Kamala Harris, Tim Walz and down ballot Democratic candidates this November.

The Broadway revival of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES celebrated its first preview production at the Longacre Theatre, on Tuesday, April 6, 2010. The show opens on April 18, 2010. BroadwayWorld joined Kelsey Grammer, Douglas Hodge and the stars of La Cage in celebration this week at Hurley's in Times Square, following their first curtain call.
Groff And More To Perform At Fulton Opera Benefit Concert
There will be a benefit concert at the Laurie Beechman Theater At West Bank Cafe to honor Fulton Opera House's late artistic director, Michael Mitchell. Mitchell passed away in September of 2008.
The event will be held on January 25 at 7pm.
Tony nominee Jonathan Groff will be among the performers, the cast will also include Rachel Coloff, Jenna Coker-Jones, Christopher Kale Jones, Lyndy Franklin, Gregg Goodbrod, Matt Gibson, Michael McGuirk, Matt Simpkins, Tara Bruno, Jessica Kademenos, Mark Fisher, Steph Wilberding, Julia Osborne, Chris York, Harold Barnard, Nathaniel Shaw, Chris Crowthers, Eric Neher, Eric Ulloa, Michael Strassheim, Nicky Venditti, Gavin Waters, Scott Sussman, Stephanie Lynne-Mason, and Danny Gardner.
Several alumni from productions that Mitchell directed for the Fulton will perform. Proceeds benefit the Michael Mitchell Endowment, supporting his legacy of theater produced at the Fulton.
