BIO

Michael Salami is an award-winning actor celebrated for his diverse roles across television, film, and theatre. A graduate of the prestigious Stella Adler Studio of Acting in NYC, Michael has made a significant impact in productions such as *Supacell*, *Hollyoaks*, and *Sumotherhood*.

Born in America and raised in London, Michael discovered his passion for storytelling at a young age, landing his first role in *Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire* (2005). This early experience sparked a lifelong dedication to the arts, leading him to create and star in his own short films as a teenager.

Michael's television debut came in the BBC series *Just A Couple* (2017), a performance that earned him a Screen Nation Award. He then became a familiar face on the popular UK drama *Hollyoaks* (2017-2018). His impressive career continued with roles in the Sky series *Temple* (2019) and Adam Deacon's *Sumotherhood* (2023). Michael's talent was further recognized with his award-winning performance in the short film *Saving Art* (2023), which garnered him the Best Actor award at the British Short Film Awards, as well as the Best Actor award at the Feel the Reel International Film Festival for *Good Intentions* (2022).

In 2024, Michael will be seen in the highly anticipated Netflix drama *Supacell*, created by Rapman, and the feature film *Jingle Bell Heist*, alongside Peter Serafinowicz and Lucy Punch.

Beyond the screen, Michael has an impressive array of theatre credits, having performed at renowned venues such as The Old Vic, The Soho Theatre, Lyric Hammersmith, and Theatre 503 in London. He also starred in the touring production of *Dial M for Murder* which toured Great Britain and Dubai.

Michael is not only an accomplished actor but also a co-host of *&Cut*, a podcast that features conversations with actors, directors, and other industry professionals.

Her run concludes in Northampton on June 27th.
