COME FROM AWAY Company Will Sign Cast Recordings and Perform at Barnes & Noble on April 7
JUNKYARD DOG PRODUCTIONS and THE MUSICAL COMPANY will celebrate the release of the original Broadway cast recording of COME FROM AWAY with a special in-store performance and CD signing at Barnes & Noble (150 East 86th St at Lexington Avenue) on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 4.30 PM. Creators Irene Sankoff and David Hein will be joined by the COME FROM AWAY cast: Petrina Bromley, Geno Carr, Jenn Colella, Joel Hatch, Rodney Hicks, Kendra Kassebaum, Tony Award nominee Chad Kimball, Lee MacDougall, Caesar Samayoa, Q. Smith, Astrid Van Wieren and Sharon Wheatley, along with musical arranger and supervisor Ian Eisendrath. Fans who purchase the CD at the store will be offered priority seating.
COME FROM AWAY Begins Performances Tomorrow; General Rush Policy Announced
The new Broadway musical COME FROM AWAY has announced that a limited number of $38 general rush tickets (including the $2 facility fee) will be available at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre box office (236 West 45th Street) when it opens for that day's performance(s). Limited to two tickets per person, tickets are subject to availability. Cash and major credit cards are accepted.

As COME FROM AWAY Heads to Broadway Sheridan's Canadian Music Theatre Project Announces Three New Musicals
Sheridan College's Canadian Music Theatre Project (CMTP), under the leadership of Michael Rubinoff, Associate Dean of Visual and Performing Arts, is an international centre of excellence for the development of new musicals in Canada. Since its inception in 2011, 15 shows have been incubated, with four having enjoyed their professional premieres (Come From Away, The Theory of Relativity, Prom Queen and Marathon of Hope) and one opening on Broadway in 2017 (Come From Away). The Canadians are back! 54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents BLAME CANADA! Join us for an evening of the best in Canadian musical theatre as we present a concert of songs by members of the Canadian Musical Theatre Writers Collective (CMTWC). This year BLAME CANADA! is going global, with concerts in New York City, Toronto, Vancouver, and London. Founded by Landon Braverman and Joseph Trefler, CMTWC is a new national organization devoted to supporting and promoting the work of Canadian musical theatre writers both at home and abroad.
