SeeNoSun OnStage Partners with Nationwide Literacy Groups
SeeNoSun OnStage, a Washington, DC-based professional theater company announced the launch of a project to help improve adult literacy across the U.S. The SeeNoSun Literacy Project will issue free eBooks packaged with theatrically enhanced audio books from the classic horror genre to literacy groups across the country.

Killer Joe is the first play written by the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winning author of August: Osage County, Tracy Letts. The play is a southern gothic black comedy that derives humor from the dirty realism of stereotypical white trash characters that are not only victims of circumstance, but also victims of themselves, enslaved to their own malice and delusions. In this withering rustic outlook on the disenfranchised in America, the Smith family hires Killer Joe to do away with mother for the insurance money. Killer Joe decides to bed the Smith's young virgin daughter, Dottie, as sexual collateral against his final fee until the insurance policy is paid. Before it's over nearly everyone is a bloody mess.

Molotov to Present NORMAL, 3/6-30
Following the critical success of 'Extremities' this past October, the horror and suspense theatre company Molotov Theatre Group is bringing 'Normal' by Anthony Neilson to the DC stage in March. The show runs Thursdays through Sundays, March 6-March 30 at 7:30 PM at the DC Arts Center, 2438 18th St, NW, Washington, DC 20009. Tickets are $25 ($40 for a reduced price pass for the remainder of the Molotov season), and are available through the Molotov web site (www.molotovtheatre.org
). Press night is Saturday, March 8.

Molotov Theatre Announces 2013/2014 Season
Molotov Theatre Group, Washington DC's only Grand Guignol theatre company, has announced its 2013/2014 season, which includes 'Extremities,' 'Normal' and 'Killer Joe,' and is issuing a call for directors for two of the shows.
