Ethan Hawke Joins Cast of New Orleans Heist Film CUT THROAT CITY

It was announced today that Four-time Oscar®-nominated actor Ethan Hawke has signed on the New Orleans-set heist movie CUT THROAT CITY, directed by RZA (of the Wu Tang Clan). The film also stars Terrence Howard, Wesley Snipes, Eiza González, Kat Graham, Tip “T.I.” Harris, Joel David Moore, Isiah Washington, Keean Johnson, Sam Daly, Denzel Whitaker, Rob Morgan, Rich Paul, Demetrius Shipp Jr. and Shameik Moore. Well Go USA preemptively acquired North American rights earlier this year for the picture for a nationwide theatrical release in 2019. XYZ Films is handling international sales.

Film Director Troy Rowland To Helm DANGERMAN RETURNS The Black Superhero Film Sequel

It will be lights, camera and a lot of action as DangerMan, America's Real Life Black Superhero, gears up to shoot the sequel to his original film release. The story revolves around a feud between two families, the Ashtons and the Ravenswoods. Lucia Ashton loves Edgar, master of Ravenswood, whose land her family has taken by force. When Lucia's brother, out of political necessity, forces her into an arranged marriage, there are dire consequences. Donizetti expertly combines the epic story of Lucia with some of the most wonderful melodies from his pen and the most affecting mad scene in theatre.

Composers, Inc. announces the world premiere of a major new chamber opera MIDDLEMARCH IN SPRING by composer Allen Shearer and librettist Claudia Stevens, based on George Eliot's great romantic novel Middlemarch.
