The 110th anniversary of WWI will be commemorated with the play AUTHOR, COMPOSER, SOLDIER-OF-A-SORT at Edinburgh Fringe, celebrating the friendship between poet Ivor Gurney and musician Marion Scott.
Following an acclaimed run at The Pleasance in Edinburgh over the summer, 'Author, Composer, Soldier-of-a-sort' written and performed by Jan Carey will have a short run at The King's Head Theatre, Islington at 4pm on 10, 17, 24 February and 3 March.
"Author, Composer, Soldier-of-a-Sort" is Jan Carey's first play to be staged at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The production opens on Saturday 4 August at The Pleasance at 14.00, following previews from Wednesday 1 August and runs until Monday 27 August.
