Michael Lomenick is currently appearing as Frank in Native Gardens at Williams Street Rep. Recent productions include Matthew Cuthbert in Anne of Green Gables, a Morton Arboretum Walking Play, John Heminges in Book of Will at Edge of the Wood Theater, and The Runner, an independent SAG film from Pigasus Productions. Michael also appeared as Hanrahan in Below the Belt, a Hundo4u Production that he co-produced, and Prim in Edge of the Wood Theatre's Beautiful People. He's appeared as Sheriff Hartman in The Front Page and Jimmy II in A Love Affair at Oil Lamp Theater in Glenview, worked with Charna Halperin in United We Fall at iO, and was Marc in “Art“ at Gorilla Tango. He has worked at The Goodman Studio, Victory Gardens, The Organic, Chicago Dramatist, Fourth Wall Productions, the Improv Institute, Zebra Crossing, Genesis Productions at The Athenaeum, Redtwist, Borealis Theater Company, and The Mummers at Stage Center in Oklahoma City. Originally from Oilton, Oklahoma and an Eagle Scout, his favorite roles include include Elwood P. Dowd in Harvey at Chicago’s historic Theater on the Lake, Cletis in Lone Star performed at the Théâtre Princesse Grace in Monaco, and Ward Cleaver in As the Beaver at Zebra Crossing. Michael studied performance at The University of Oklahoma, The Theater School DePaul, and received his MFA from Roosevelt University. Film credits include Vinyl and The Miracle on 34th Street.
